David Dance was bitten by the shutter-bug on the Mendocino Coast while celebrating an Anniversary with his wife Dawn in 2009. Frustrated by the limitations of a ‘point and shoot’ in the vibrant visual feast of the coastal scenery, he vowed to obtain better equipment upon his return home to Carmichael.
The construction industry and related fields serve to put food on the Dance family table, however, his photography is morphing from the realm of hobby to professional. Chasing light and shadow, seeking out the obscure, and capturing the unobserved, are his primary motivators
